Mental Health
The mission of Danville’s mental health services is to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students. Through district wide collaboration, we strive to foster strong connections with students, act with empathy, and uphold procedures designed to ensure safety and enrich lives. DASD is committed to the mental health wellness of students and their families through prevention, intervention, and education.
School Board
The Danville Area School District is governed by a board of nine elected directors responsible for representing the community in setting policies and directing school programs. It, in turn, appoints the superintendent who is responsible for all district operations.
Ironmen Foundation
The Ironmen Foundation has been established and is organized in order to develop, promote and finance education programs, activities and projects for the benefit of the community of the Danville Area School District.
Athletics
We are committed to developing our students into well-rounded individuals by providing safe and high-quality athletics and extracurricular experiences.
